📣 Announcement 📣 Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) is back! 📣

Due to the success of our previous courses we are delighted to be bringing you a new 8 week mindfulness course starting this spring at Belville Community Gardens, to be a part of something quite special please follow the link below to secure your place!

The MBLC introduces basic mindfulness techniques whilst cultivating an attitude of self acceptance and compassion.

The course will be taught by Kathryn Gardiner who is a counsellor at MindMosaic, and is a British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA) registered teacher.

The course will be delivered outside, however, with your comfort in mind, we have a rain shelter, fire pit and access to toilets.

This Level 2 course is ideal for anyone who has already completed a Level 1 Mindfulness Course and wishes to continue to develop their mindfulness practice so as to hold their inner experience with warmth and compassion.

The course will start on the 14th March with an introductory session and then continue for 8 more weeks.

This is a highly sought after course which has been requested by so many recently, so with that in mind, we're please to announce the wonderful CBLC Approved Teacher, @MindfulWarrior, will be leading you on your next journey.

There will a charge for this course of £80, with a reduced charge of £40 available for those on low income.

We are pleased to announce that from Wednesday 25th October 2023 MindMosaic will be the venue for a FREE 7 week social anxiety group. The group will run from 09:30 to 12:30, and will be open to adults only.

The aims of the group is to provide you with the following:
- learn coping strategies
- improve your confidence
- receive psychoeducation
- improve your mental well-being

On Saturday we were incredibly honoured to partici

On Saturday we were incredibly honoured to participate in the @recoverywalkscotland , which was held in our own community.

There were many poignant moments throughout the day; the sight of everyone raising their roses in the air in memory of those lost to addiction will live on in our memories. The stories shared publicly and in private, by family members who have lost loved ones, and those who are supporting others through their addiction was truly moving and inspiring.

The day was surrounded by a genuine sense of togetherness from all ages and backgrounds, and it was evident that this will continue beyond Saturday.

The event highlighted just how much help and support is available out there for those who are starting or continuing their recovery journey, and to those who may be sitting in silence hoping someone will recognise and understand them.

Seeing everyone dancing and celebrating like no one was watching was a sheer joy.

Kind thanks to @materialthingsgreenock at Cathcart Street, Greenock who made us feel like superheroes for the day by designing and making our brilliant capes.

Heartfelt thanks go to you, who we had the pleasure of chatting with on the walk and at our stall, we hope you have taken as much from the day as we have.

What happens during this time can impact the future mental and physical health and well-being of your baby. Stress, anxiety, adverse experiences and relationship difficulties can have an affect on your child after birth and impact that early bonding experience.

At Mind Mosaic we offer a perinatal service which will enable you to access counselling services as early as possible to help minimise the impact of mental distress on yourself and your baby.

This service is available for parents and guardians of all genders, during the perinatal period, from pregnancy until baby is 2 years old.
