On Saturday we were incredibly honoured to participate in the Recovery Walk Scotland, which was held in our own community.![]()

There were many poignant moments throughout the day; the sight of everyone raising their roses in the air in memory of those lost to addiction will live on in our memories. The stories shared publicly and in private, by family members who have lost loved ones, and those who are supporting others through their addiction was truly moving and inspiring.![]()

The day was surrounded by a genuine sense of togetherness from all ages and backgrounds, and it was evident that this will continue beyond Saturday.![]()

The event highlighted just how much help and support is available out there for those who are starting or continuing their recovery journey, and to those who may be sitting in silence hoping someone will recognise and understand them.![]()

Seeing everyone dancing and celebrating like no one was watching was a sheer joy.![]()

Kind thanks to Material Things at Cathcart Street, Greenock who made us feel like superheroes for the day by designing and making our brilliant capes.![]()

Heartfelt thanks go to you, who we had the pleasure of chatting with on the walk and at our stall, we hope you have taken as much from the day as we have.![]()
